St. Alphonsa

Saint Alphonsa (19 August 1910 to 28 July 1946) was a Syro-Malabar Catholic Franciscan nun who is now honoured as a saint.Sister Alphonsa became the first native Indian to be canonized In 2008. She is the first woman of Indian origin to be canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church , the second saint to be canonized in India and the first canonised saint of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, an Eastern Catholic Church of the Saint Thomas Christian community.


St.Kuriakose chavara

Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara is a Syro-Malabar saint and social reformer from the Indian state of Kerala. He is the second canonised Indian saint and belongs to the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, an Eastern Catholic Church of the Saint Thomas Christian community founded by St. Thomas the Apostle in the first century. He was the co-founder and first Prior General of the first congregation for men in the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, now known as the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate, and of a similar one for women, the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel.


St. Euphrasia

Marth Euphrasia Eluvathingal also called Saint Euphrasia Eluvathingal baptized as Rosa Eluvathingal (Malayalam: മാർത്ത് എവുപ്രാസ്യാമ്മ) (17 October 1877 – 29 August 1952) was an Indian Carmelite nun of the Syro-Malabar Church which is an Eastern Catholic Church and a part of the Saint Thomas Christian community in Kerala. She was canonized as a Saint by Pope Francis on 23 November 2014 in Vatican City
