Manchester Feast : celebrated with traditional pomp and glory

The Feast of St Thomas the Apostle and St Alphonsa was celebrated with traditional pomp and glory on the 4th of July Saturday, 2015.   Kodieyttam was done by Mar Mathew Moolakkattu, the Archbishop of Kottayam on the 28th of June 2015. Archbishop of Changanachery Mar Joseph Perumthottam was the main celebrant of the Pontifical Qurbana which was con-celebrated by 12 priests. Most Reverend Mark Davis, the bishop of Shrewsbury gave the message. The Mathruvedi was inaugurated after the Qurbana by Archbishop Joseph Perumthottam.


The procession with the processional St Thomas Cross followed Holy Qurbana with the traditional accompaniments such as Golden and Silver Crosses, Muthukudas, Flags, Chendamelam, Irish Band. 



Cultural Evening: The main highlight of the cultural evening was the Ganamela (Orchestra) by the famous playback singer K.G. Markose.
